It seems that every time people get ready to depart on a long journey they try to pack their last days at home in with every possible activity. This holds true with me. These past couple days I have fit in every activity with my friends and family possible. Some could also argue that this is how I live my life on an everyday basis anyways. I mean come in you really do only have one life to live so why miss any opportunity that you have to spend it with your friends and especially family.
This past week I have enjoyed many things. I experienced my very first last day at school. It was a bitter sweet day saying bye to my very own classroom full of students. I've enjoyed a wonderful night with my sister and her husband who cooked a delicious dinner, spent an evening with some of the most wonderful teachers I have ever met, welcomed home an amazing guy from the navy, gone kayaking with my two best friends, visited the coolest people I know (yes, Connor you get your shout out) at PSU and went cliff jumping in the quarry, canoed down the river, and finally enjoyed cake that Molly and Becca had made for me with a nice gathering at their house!

I could not ask for better friends as family. It meant the world to me that they went through the trouble to get me a cake and get together. As I am getting ready to depart on my travel I realize that I could not do this without them. They are the ones who believed in me enough to do this and give me the confidence to seek out my dreams!!!
