Happy First Week of School!!!!
This has been such a busy week! School has started once again and it seems like I never left. Actually, while running around the first day I almost forgot that I spent my entire summer running around Nepal! However, once the thought popped back in my head it was amazing to take in the differences. The differences in the students and the classroom. Without a doubt I appreciate everything a little more.

It was very exciting to see the article come out in the newspaper this week!!! It felt good to be able to share my school in Nepal with the rest of my town.
Also, I got a heart warming message from one of the fellow teachers in Nepal this week as well. With monsoon season coming to a close they were able to start the building again! This was great news and I am so thrilled to see how much progress they have made. I can not wait to send them the extra funds I have raised since arriving home and look forward to seeing them again next year!
Here are some snapshots of the ongoing construction!
It is amazing how much a little money can do in Nepal!
When I got home I could not help but bring some culture home and dress up my new baby nephew! He is such a doll!
And going with all the school spirit here are some pictures of my new classroom! I am loving the pirate theme. I must admit, it is weird to be back in a giant classroom with resources and funds to bring a room to life. What a difference!
