Paradise

Not really sure what to write about my past few days here.

It is a wonderful island with amazing people. I've created some great friendships with backpackers who got lost here.

I've never ever been a beach person. You can ask my family I'm the type of person who hides in the hotel room and only loves the hectic boardwalk life.

Here is the opposite.

No roads and many power cuts. Beautiful water and paddle boards occupy my day. Boat trips to catch fish with a string and grill it off the back of the boat. I live in a bungalow in the jungle.

When the sun goes down my time is spent swimming in the pitch black watching the plankton light up around me.

The locals and backpacking community coexist in a wonderful harmony and they are not taken advantage of like so many other places in Cambodia.

This truly is paradise and I'm afraid I will never leave and scrap the rest of my trip. I could be content with that!
